Creativity, originality, and experience are core components of our therapy team. Our group of experienced therapists and assistants provide individualized treatment that considers the whole family and whole child.

Toa Panapa, Administrative Assistant
As the Administrative Assistant, Toa consistently goes beyond the call of duty to do what is necessary to ensure each family is served thoughtfully and well. Toa is responsible for making sure all areas of the office and therapy team are able to run smoothly. His efficiency and resourcefulness is a great asset to our team. Family satisfaction is his greatest priority.
Jaimie Haas, Billing Specialist
Jaimie is the Billing Specialist and the friendly face helping families make sense of insurance and billing. Originally from Michigan, she’s married with three kids, so she truly understands busy family life. Jaimie loves supporting parents throughout their child’s therapy journey and works hard to keep the process simple and stress-free. When she’s not at work, you’ll likely find her traveling with her family and making new memories along the way.

Jordan Stockton, Office Manager
Jordan is a 2015 graduate of Winthrop University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. She brings a diverse background in workforce operations, technology, and hospitality to our administrative team. Jordan is dedicated to supporting our clients through thoughtful planning and coordination that benefits both our families and therapy team. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and two dogs.

Hannah Childers, Scheduling Coordinator
Hannah serves as the Scheduling Coordinator at Therapeutic Designs and Services. She assists in scheduling and day-to-day coordination to ensure the clinic runs smoothly. Hannah earned her Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration from Francis Marion University. Outside of work, Hannah loves spending time with her family and little boy. She is passionate about creating a positive experience for every family that walks through the door.
Occupational Therapists

Irene Ingram, Founder, Occupational Therapist​
Irene Ingram, OTR/L, is a highly experienced Occupational Therapist with more than four decades of dedication to helping children thrive. After graduating from the Medical University of South Carolina in 1978, she founded Therapeutic Designs and Services, Inc. in 1980 to provide therapy for children in a creative, supportive environment. Irene has extensive training in advanced therapeutic approaches, including auditory integration therapies, cranial sacral therapy, lymphatic drainage, and intensive academic and brain integration programs. Her work is deeply rooted in research on the autonomic nervous system and its role in trauma, stress, healing, attention, creativity, and reflex maturation, as well as specialized treatment of the head and neck. A sought-after lecturer and educator, Irene regularly presents to practitioners across the United States, serves annually on the Avanti Research Camp team in Minnesota, and teaches professional development courses such as Treating the Head and Neck as an Etiology for Oral Motor, Motor Control, and Sensory Processing Problems and Emotion to Motion.

Ashley Evans, Clinic Director, Occupational Therapist

Ashley graduated in May 2018 with a Master's of Occupational Therapy from the University at Buffalo. During her time at university, she was a Division 1 Student-Athlete on the women's soccer team, a tutor, youth soccer coach and worked in a childcare facility. Ashley has gained much experience working with people from 6 months old to 21 and loved every second of it. Young people have shown her that there is resilience and beauty instilled in all. Ashley has also completed further learning opportunities with sensory integration, DIR/Floortime and feeding which she found an interest in. She is always looking for ways to learn and use her knowledge to guide others.

Ashley loves to travel and has been to nine different countries and has 8 more states to visit in the US! The cultural diversity and various ways of life intrigue her. Traveling reminds her of her favorite quote by Helen Keller: “Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much”. Ashley does her best to live by this quote working together with the kiddos and their family as a team.

Victoria (Tori) G. Earle, Occupational Therapist

Tori graduated from the University of South Carolina in May 2018, moving forward to then pursue her Masters in Occupational Therapy from Lenoir-Rhyne University in May 2020. Tori has always had a passion to work with young children from an early age. During her time in school, she worked with an afterschool program for preschoolers as well as private childcare. Tori is a Hartsville native and is happy to finally be fulfilling her dream of working with the pediatric population at TDS. She loves to work with all children but specializes in Kinesioptaping, treating the hemiaplegic child, neurofeedback, and kids challenged with modulation. In her free time, Tori enjoys spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, and traveling.

Katelyn Kondla, Occupational Therapy Assistant
Katelyn graduated from Coker College in 2015, where she received her Bachelors of Science degree in Exercise Science. She continued her education at Cabarrus College of Health Science where she received her degree as a Occupational Therapy Assistant. Katelyn has been a devoted COTA/L for 5 years. She has worked with all ages from Geriatrics to babies!

Katelyn is a devoted wife to Fico and mother to Little Fico and Luca. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her family.

Morgan H. Jordan, Occupational Therapy Assistant
Morgan is a 2017 graduate of Trident Technical College. She has always had a passion for working with children and loves helping them grow through play. She is a good problem solver and is driven to continue learning new and better ways to treat the children she works with. Morgan is a Hartsville native and is happy to be back serving her community. In her free time, Morgan enjoys going on walks, being outdoors and spending time with her dog Abby.

Mary Alice Gainey, Occupational Therapy Assistant

Mary Alice is a 2022 graduate of Trident Technical College. She loves connecting with and getting to know each child to help them succeed at following their passions. She enjoys using play, arts and crafts, and movement to help children grow. She always strives to learn from the children she works with to help them best. She enjoys working with children of all ages and all disabilities. Mary Alice is a Hartsville native and she is happy to be back and serving her community.

Tiffany Neely, Occupational Therapy Assistant

Tiffany, an Occupational Therapy Assistant since 2016, discovered her passion for OT through her experience with her special needs brother. She loves working with clients of all ages, especially children 0–5, and takes a whole-body, family-centered approach in outpatient therapy.
Outside of work, Tiffany is a mom of two, enjoys arts and crafts, homeschooling, and reading with her girls.

Melissa Herlong, Occupational Therapist Assistant
Melissa is a pediatric occupational therapist with nearly 30 years of experience dedicated exclusively to serving children and their families. She earned her degree in Occupational Therapy from the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in 1996.
Throughout her career, Melissa worked for Project SHARE for 24 years, providing occupational therapy services across multiple school districts. In 2020, she joined the Darlington County School District, where she continued her commitment to pediatric care until her retirement in 2024.
Melissa is passionate about working with children and finds great joy in helping them overcome challenges and experience the pride that comes with accomplishing hard things.
She is married to Chad Herlong and is the proud parent of three grown children—Brent and twins Hunter and Kaylee. In her free time, Melissa enjoys reading, traveling, and watching baseball.
Speech Therapists

Kerry Dorn, Speech Language Pathologist

Kerry was born and raised in Hartsville. After receiving her Early Childhood Education degree from College of Charleston, she went on to receive her master’s degree in Speech- Language Pathology. She taught preschool in Charleston while obtaining her master’s degree and then moved back home to Hartsville where she taught first grade for 6 years. Kerry then started her dream of being a Speech Language Pathologist with Darlington County School District. She is now spreading her love of communication to the wonderful children of TDS. She believes everyone has the ability to communicate. When not working, Kerry enjoys spending time with her daughter, going to the beach, shopping, and dinners with friends!

Elizabeth Quinn, Speech Language Pathologist
Elizabeth is a Hartsville native who moved back home to this special town 15 years ago. She graduated in 1994 with a degree in Secondary English Education, then attended the University of South Carolina, achieving a Masters plus 30 in Communication Sciences and Disorders in order to become a speech-language pathologist. Mrs. Quinn has been a speech-language pathologist for 24 years and has provided speech services to adults and children in a number of different settings, addressing a variety of communication delays and disorders. Primarily she finds her joy working with the pediatric population and has had the opportunity throughout her career to work with children with autism and special needs. She enjoys working alongside and collaborating with the wonderful staff at Therapeutic Designs and Services. Mrs. Quinn also works with the Darlington County School system. She loves spending time with her husband, two children and their sweet Boykin Spaniel, Louie. In her free time, she loves to travel, spend time on the South Carolina coast, and follow Clemson football.

Beverly T. Cannarella, M.S.P., CCC-SLP
Beverly is a licensed and highly experienced Speech-Language Pathologist with more than 40 years of service to children and families across South Carolina. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Speech Correction from Columbia College and her Master’s degree in Speech Pathology from the University of South Carolina. Beverly has held her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) since 1979 and has been licensed in South Carolina since 1980.
Her professional background includes extensive experience in clinical, school-based, and contract settings, including local school districts throughout the Pee Dee region. Beverly has been a valued member of Therapeutic Designs & Services since 2009 and has served full-time since 2021. She is known for her compassionate, individualized approach and her commitment to helping children build strong communication skills and confidence.

Dawn Katko, Speech Language Pathologist

Dawn is a graduate of both Columbia College and the University of South Carolina with a Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. With over 28 years of experience, Dawn retired from the Darlington County School District. During her school career, she worked with children aged 3-21 years with a variety of disabilities. Additionally, Dawn has experience with adult patients in skilled nursing facilities. Problem solving for and seeing growth in children keeps Dawn energized and eager to learn and grow herself.

Jenna Cottingham, Speech Language Pathologist
Jenna is a native of Lynchburg, South Carolina and graduated in May of 2024 with a Master’s Degree in the field of Speech Language Pathology from Francis Marion University. Jenna was once a student at TDS, and instantly fell in love with the atmosphere, so she is now one of our full time speech therapist. Jenna loves serving the pediatric population including a wide range of disorders. She loves the friendly atmosphere at TDS and the ability to always collaborate with other staff members. During her free time she loves going to the movies, spending time with her fur babies, family, and friends, and shopping!

Emily Graves, Speech Language Pathologist
Emily was born and raised in Camden, South Carolina. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Columbia College in 2018 and began her career as an SLP-A, serving children and their families through home health, clinic-based and school based services. After completing her Master of Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of South Carolina in 2025, she joined the team at Therapeutic Designs & Services.
Although she has experience serving individuals across the lifespan, Emily especially enjoys working with the pediatric and early intervention population. She is a strong supporter of neuroaffirming, child-led therapeutic approaches and believes that children learn best when they feel safe, seen, and celebrated for who they truly are.
In her free time, Emily loves spending time with her husband, David, and their four cats. She also enjoys gardening, traveling to national parks for hiking adventures, and cheering on the South Carolina Gamecocks.
Emily is grateful for the opportunity to support the children and families of TDS as they grow confident, connected, and empowered.

Jessica Brown, Speech Language Pathologist
Jessica is a Speech-Language Pathologist who loves helping children communicate in ways that feel meaningful and successful for them. She believes that therapy should be supportive, engaging, and centered around each child’s individual needs.
Jessica’s goal is to help children feel confident communicating and to give families the tools they need to support progress outside of therapy.
Jessica enjoys working alongside and collaborating with the amazing staff at Therapeutic Designs and Services. She also works full time with Darlington County School District. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors and making memories with her 6-year-old son Walker.
Camile Dash, Speech Language Pathologist
Camille is a native of Savannah, Georgia and graduated in May of 2024 with a Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Francis Marion University. She has mostly worked with the pediatric population ranging from the ages of 1-21 in a private practice, schools, and daycares. Working with kids brings her so much joy as she helps them reach their goals. During her free time, she loves to spend time with family and friends, exercise, read, listen to music, and watch her favorite tv shows.
Physical Therapists

Soha Patel, Physical Therapist

Soha Patel received her Master of Physical Therapy from the University of Central Florida in 2007. She has over 17 years of experience working in diverse settings, including pediatrics, acute care, geriatrics, subacute rehabilitation, and outpatient therapy.
As a former Director of Rehab in an outpatient setting for 3 years and a proud owner of The Little Gym for 7 years, a child development center and gymnastics gym, she understands young patients and their families' unique needs. She seeks to create a supportive and engaging environment where children can thrive, regain mobility, and build confidence. When she is not working she enjoys traveling the world and exploring nature with her two boys.

Nicole Kennedy, Physical Therapist
Nicole graduated from the Medical College of Georgia in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. She has practiced in Georgia and South Carolina in a variety of settings including outpatient clinics, home health, rehabilitation centers, and at the Medical College of Georgia Medical Center. Nicole has a private practice in Hartsville, SC which was established in 1993. She specializes in pediatric physical therapy and yoga therapy for adults and children. She has training in NDT, Sensory Integration, Myofascial Release, Balance Training, and Kinesotaping, and Yoga for the Special Child. Yoga therapy training has included Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy, YogaFit Level 1, Yamuna Body Rolling, and Professional Yoga Therapy Studies.
